Scientists grow lost 'biblical tree' from 1,000-year-old seed

Archaeologists discovered a 1,000-year-old seed in the Judean desert, which grew into a 10-foot tree believed to be linked to biblical trees. Despite thriving, the tree did not produce aromatic compounds like myrrh. Research was published after confirming its distinct identity from Judean Balsam.
